New — Phoenix Pro option
Voice tracks, on-air monitoring and live, wherever you are

Remote Voice Tracker
Prepare the show from home too

Your presenters record their voice tracks on their own computer, in the browser, with the same moves as in the studio: the end of the outgoing song in the headphones, the microphone, the next item. Every voice track reaches the Phoenix playlist ready for air. And the station can be monitored from a phone.

The Remote Voice Tracker on a phone: song on air, gap to the top of the hour and upcoming items
The Remote Voice Tracker on a computer: the hour's playlist, waveforms of the end of the outgoing song, the voice and the next jingle, takes and effect on the hour
The Remote Voice Tracker on a computer. The slot between “Save Your Tears” and the next jingle, the voice laid over the end of the song, three volume points, and the effect on the hour before sending.

For those who make radio away from the studio

The studio remains the heart of the station; the Remote Voice Tracker opens it to those who are not there.

🏠

The presenter at home

They prepare their voice tracks the evening before or that same morning, headphones on, on their own computer. Same slots, same moves, same result as in the studio: no more trips just to record.

🧳

The team on the move

On assignment, at a trade show, on holiday: the hour is prepared in advance and recorded even without a connection. Voice tracks are sent on their own as soon as the connection returns.

📡

Programme management

They follow the station from their phone, receive studio alerts and see all their stations at a glance. Permissions are granted person by person, station by station.

A real studio application, in the browser

On a computer, a complete workstation; on a phone, on-air monitoring. Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari: nothing to install.

Take in progress in the Voice Tracker: microphone open, voice drawn live, “start next” button
Recording, just like in the studio. Space starts the pre-roll: the end of the outgoing song plays in the headphones. Space opens the microphone, starts the next item, closes the microphone. The voice is drawn as you speak, and every second is kept on the computer.
“Effect on the hour and sending” panel: outgoing song −0.9 s, voice track +8.1 s, hour's gap from −3 s to +5 s, the hour stays within ±5 s
The effect on the hour, before sending. The outgoing song shortened, the length of the voice track, the hour's gap before and after: you know straight away whether the hour stays within ±5 s. Several takes: keep the best one.
On-air view on a computer: song on air, current hour at 0 s, upcoming items including the inserted voice track
On air, live. The current song and the time remaining, the gap to the next top of the hour, the next five items — including the voice track that has just been inserted — and the studio status.
Sending screen: the 19:05 voice track inserted into the playlist, and two slots ready for offline recording
Every voice track followed all the way to the playlist. Inserted, to review or refused: the “Envois” (sending) screen shows what became of each voice track. Hours prepared for offline use wait there to be recorded.
The 7 pm playlist in the Voice Tracker: voice track placed and inserted, “+ liaison” between two items
The hour's playlist. The voice track that was sent is in place, “insérée” (inserted). Between two items, “+ liaison” adds a new one.
On-air view on a phone: song on air, hour's gap within ±5 s, upcoming items
The station in your pocket. On a phone, the application becomes a monitoring view that can be added to the home screen.
Alert on a phone: “Chlonéo: Phoenix has not reported for 1 min 30 s”
An alert, straight away. The relay notices that Phoenix has gone silent and says so — on screen, by notification and by e-mail, and again once everything is back to normal.

Four steps, from headphones to air

The voice track follows the same path as one recorded in the studio.

  1. Pick the slot

The day, the hour (upcoming hours first), then the slot: a planned “Voice Track”, a voice track to redo, or a new one between two items.

  2. Record as in the studio

The end of the outgoing song in the headphones, the microphone on cue or at the mix point, the next item started under the voice. Several takes, kept even if the page is closed.

  3. Edit and check the hour

Slide the voice over the end of the song, bring the next item in earlier, trim, add volume points. The effect on the hour updates with every edit.

  4. Send it to the studio

The voice track enters the playlist like one recorded in the studio: silences removed, level matched to the music. If the slot has changed in the meantime, it waits to be placed again — never inserted blindly.

The station, wherever you are

The same access lets you monitor the air, edit the playlist and go live.

📱

Monitoring and alerts

Song on air, gap to the next top of the hour, the computer holding the air. Silent studio, playout stopped, hour drifting, stream down: the alert reaches the phone and your inbox, followed by the all-clear.

🎤

Live from anywhere

The presenter's microphone reaches the studio console after a guided connection test. If the connection weakens, the voice fades out and the automation takes the air back on its own.

🗂️

Playlist and stations

Move, remove or insert a song, exactly as the Phoenix operator would. Several stations: pick one from the list, or see them all at a glance.

A studio that stays closed

The on-air computer is never exposed to the Internet: the studio calls out, not the other way round.

🔒

No open port

The on-air computer only makes outgoing connections to a relay hosted by Chloneo, one per customer. No port forwarding, no access to the computer from outside.

🔑

Two-factor authentication

Phoenix credentials, then a 6-digit code or a passkey. Lockout after repeated failures, protected sessions, encrypted secrets.

👥

Permissions per person

Management, presenter, programming or read-only, granted in Phoenix and limited to certain stations if needed.

🛡️

The air stays protected

Skipping to the next item, firing a cart or resuming automation requires an armed live session with fresh authentication. No keyboard shortcut controls the air, and a command that arrives too late is ignored.

🧭

Never blind

Every edit checks that the playlist has not moved; otherwise it is refused, and the voice track waits to be placed again.

📝

Everything is logged

Audit log on the relay and in Phoenix: who, what, from where, with what outcome. Every file is checked by its fingerprint at each step.

A Phoenix Pro option, quoted on request

The Remote Voice Tracker is added to Phoenix Pro, per station. It builds on the studio Voice Tracker, included from the Standard edition, and on the relay hosted by Chloneo.
